Description:
The AdBlue emulator is a device designed to simulate the function of the nitrogen oxide (NOx) sensor and can be installed on both functional and malfunctioning SCR systems. This solution, known as “Complete SCR System Emulation,” works by fully disabling the SCR system and placing a device on the CAN line that emulates SCR operation and behavior under all vehicle conditions. This approach offers a highly secure solution.
The emulator comes in a plastic housing with IP 54 dust and moisture protection and is suitable for both cabin and under-hood installation.
Installation requires placement in the distribution box under the hood on the right side (in driving direction) using a 4-wire connection.
If there is a leak in the AdBlue pump, it’s recommended to disconnect plug 9A.
Installation Instructions:
After placing the emulator, SCR and NOx sensors must be powered off by removing fuses 6 and 357 from the central electrical unit. On DAF XF105 models, SCR fault codes typically disappear immediately after the CAN module installation or after the engine’s fourth restart. After this, the AdBlue level will stabilize, and errors will clear.
Main Features:
- Installation on both functional and non-functional SCR systems.
- Cost savings on AdBlue fluid.
- Reduced maintenance and repair costs for SCR system components.
- Quick replacement of the emulator.
- Easy de-installation and re-use on another vehicle.
- Simple and convenient installation.
Compatibility:
- DAF LF 45/55 models with Cummins engines.
