Description: The AdBlue Emulator is a device that emulates the function of the NOx sensor with the option to install it on both functional and faulty SCR systems. This approach, known as “Complete SCR System Emulation,” involves fully deactivating the SCR system and placing a device on the CAN line that simulates the SCR system’s operation and behavior under all driving conditions. This method is highly safe and effective.
The emulator is housed in a plastic casing with an IP54 rating for dust and moisture protection, suitable for installation both in the cabin and under the hood.
Installation is completed in the junction box under the hood on the right-hand side in the driving direction, connecting to four wires. For vehicles with AdBlue pump leaks, disconnecting connector 9A is recommended.
Once the installation is complete, it’s essential to power off the SCR unit and NOx sensor by removing fuses 6 and 357 from the main electrical system. On DAF XF105 models, any existing SCR error codes typically disappear immediately after the CAN module is installed or after the engine has been restarted four times.
After these steps, the urea level will adjust, and errors will be cleared.
